Education West Africa helps school pupils in Sierra Leone get a better start in life.

Through education, young people can strive to escape poverty and get a job, earn money, live a healthier life, become independent and contribute to their family and the economy of their country.

Education West Africa would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the late Mr Arthur Wegg and his family. Mr Wegg had supported EWA for many years, and following his recent death, his family asked for donations in his memory to be made to EWA through Memory Giving. They have kindly given us permission to publicly say 'Thank you' on our website. Thoughtfulness and generosity like this makes a big difference to the lives of children in Sierra Leone
Cake sale raises £250

The children of Sierra Leone Class at St Mary's Primary School in Pulborough held a cake and craft sale in the first week of December, and raised £250.91 for EWA. Well done to the children and staff!

St Mary's Church in Pulborough, West Sussex, kindly donated the proceeds of their Harvest bring and buy sale to EWA, a total of £477. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this generous donation.
