Link your school
If you are a teacher or headteacher, we can link your school with a school in Sierra Leone. Pupils can exchange letters, and you might raise funds for your link school. For example, St Mary’s Primary School in Pulborough provided a well for their link school in Kenema, and St Bartholomew’s School in Brighton helped provide furniture for Nyandeyama School.
If a Trustee is visiting Sierra Leone, they may be able to take letters, educational resources or gifts to your link school. These are always appreciated, and letters and gifts may be sent in return. Village schools do not have electricity or an internet service, but there is widespread mobile phone coverage.
